Hello! I am writing for thread because I didn't just think about, but actually mentioned this blog to a friend, and I don't think I can rightly acknowledge thread exists without writing. Also because iCloud Private Relay's lagged-as-hell DNS finally updated (I suspect this was the issue), so we can actually load our new site for real now. This is thread!

I think starting our site over is maybe the first positive (or, exo...um...thermic?) action that Coral took, for us and as herself. Thanks to Nat for taking care of DNS stuff, of course. We're still here at nebula.ed1.club, but the site (plus our old blog) is served by NearlyFreeSpeech now. We have a backup or two of the site as it stood, last year or two's additions and all - but it's offline only for now. We really are starting fresh.

This all means a new style for thread, too. Do you like it?

There is a lot we have written about that's more or less gone now, but thread persists. (Hopefully all the outlinks still work, we were pretty careful combing those.) The system shenanigans continue and this is our place for sharing. The rest of our "proper" blogs are probably all still online wherever they live, too...

It's probably no surprise that the way we function best is, as it has been, by embracing ourselves and each other as independent and individual people. Lately the pressures have been kind of high and simultaneously with that, we were pretty preoccupied forming a new member, to pay quite enough conscious attention to the rest of us, the "all" of us.
