this is how
you see me see you.

Striking ink piece of Whisper, masked and cloaked. This is a dead-on forward view, but it's aligned right a bit. Her bang covers two of the trio of eye-holes which are stylistically drawn hollow beneath; the left eye is fully uncovered, though all but its eye, on that side of the mask, is in shade. Her ponytail sweeps behind and to her right (the image's left) and is very broad, casting a femme-knightly aura with only its shape. She is surrounded in lifted lines that suggest shaking, trembling, but she's profoundly in control. Overhead, text reads: this is how - and beneath her - you see me see you.

important personal piece

This is probably the moment when Whisper realized where she exists on the fictive spectrum. Not in words or reason or anything, just... through the art.

It's possible we were physically ill at the time, but more than that, this was dealing with a pain in the heart. We drew this with a character sheet reference I think, it's honestly not far off from a carbon clone, but it's still one of our favorite pieces of art, ever. Shoutouts to Lady Sia for being another medieval princess-knight blonde-ponytail kind of character who we've known since we were tiny.
