+    wanted this one to be as funky as possible. drew snoop dogg uncannily realistic in honor of [[artist:andrew-hussie|hussie’s]] weird style choices. it’s a really good fuckin track. when [[artist:makin|Makin]] streamed it he also shared a video of the Sans battle, except Sans was Snoop. it was awesome.

+    i got pretty lazy with this cover and focused on making it look good design-wise rather than spending a lot of time on it. the song is based on [[track:nightlife-extended|the original music for the Midnight Crew Flash]], by [[artist:bill-bolin|Bill Bolin]], who ordered [[artist:andrew-hussie|Hussie]] to remove all his music from Homestuck after a fight. thus the end part.

+    **THIS ONE WAS DRAWN BY [[artist:nights|@itsnightsyo]] AND COLOURED BY ME.** we thought it’d be pretty neat to do a collab. i discussed it with nights and offered the idea of recreating [[flash:1931|the “how do i live” scene]] with john and she drew this wonderful piece, and i tried my best to bring it to life with bright colours, as well as drawing the background (everything but the sun + text) which nights decided should be based on the “thanks for playing” scene. i think that my bold colouring and nights’s uncanny ability to draw loose expressive humanoid figures makes for a good combo.
