Blue - Strongly believes all the rules and customs HiveWings have put in place are good. They are for the good of the tribes, and are to be followed. - Is averse to change. Why change or criticize the rules if they are good? - Understands that, while life as a SilkWing isn't perfect, it's pretty good, and stable. This is enough for him, and he doesn't feel an urge to change it. - On the contrary, he has friends who *are* interested in changing things - being opposed to the HiveWings' rules - to some extent. Luna, Swordtail, Io.. But he doesn't approve of their ideas. He told Luna he "knows Swordtail is full of ideas, but please don't let him drag you into prusion along with him" (to which Luna retorted that they were her own ideas). (See store scene with Lady Scarab.) - This is a bit of a parallel with the very first book in the series, where Clay had never thought of leaving the cave earlier than they were supposed to, and was taken aback when Tsunami suggested doing so. And as Clay and the others went with the idea, Blue got rather involved in the topic; and both Clay and Blue have their perspectives quite changed by the end of their stories.
