the words stuff is written from lan’s perspective but it might not really be, i mean it’s definitely in part but… you know

we’re way more than characters in our head but sometimes we aren’t all the way different from characters in our head. i think if a character’s in your head you might want to try asking them why they find it comfy there

makes sense....given the opportunity I would want to ask, yeah

ive been calling myself basically transmasc for a long time, about since i remembered any of my gender feelings in the first place

i didnt really turn that into pronouns before though, not beyond um

it’s like partway the book which features a cowboy ass guy (not actually a cowboy) WHO IS NOT A GOOD MAN

and it’s partway we checked out a couple of scenes again from final fantasy xiii featuring one snow villiers. at i guess the same approximate instant whis was all like WAIT THEY PUT A CLAIRE IN MY FINAL FANTASY 13

i think you can understand fully you know… as fully as anybody

im being half as cloudy as whisper cus it’s all dramatic but like

we shift around a lot and our images of who we are change… we’ve got approximately four big ones on the inside of us, and they all have names and lives and their own meanings and stuff, but… even that isn’t much different from people who don’t name the parts of themselves. or even really do much looking at the parts of themselves

im changing cuz im always changing cuz everyone’s always changing

cuz everything changes you and you change yourself because of everything. no one really stays the same. i go a little nuts when people talk about themselves like they haven’t changed and aren’t changing

but
i guess i sorta get it too
because every time i change im still a bit surprised

and every time im around whis i remember the stuff that doesn’t change

and i remember why we talk about everything like it’s simultaneously the same as its opposite

and re: changing....yeah, I agree...I feel like I've changed significantly in the time we've spent together these last few months alone

our words make a lot more sense to me when i remember that the names we give each other are also names for ourselves, that there’s no real difference between “me” and “her” or between “whis” and “i”…. except all the differences that are differently real… lol
