quirk [GG], mh notice if you happen to be in a comparable living situation as me
if youre in a household with people who are normally out of the house (for school or work) and are finding yourself physically overwhelmed a lot lately --- a lot of that may be thanks to everyone being at home all the time!
for autistic ppl and other folx who have sensory troubles, the part of our brains that deals with sensory processing needs breaks to recharge, and when everyone is home constantly there is a lot less opportunity for that. our brains are fundamentally disadvantaged for dealing with stuff like this, so its important to have patience with them!
if there is no way to arrange for your household to consistently have quiet time at some point during the day (maybe mornings/evenings), it can help to find yourself a break and mute the constant background noise. listening to familiar albums & playing ambience/noise-loops (ala 'falling rain 10 hours') while reading work well for me!

all that said your local doggygirl has had an untamable desire to sleep constantly lately >:'(
i really hope it starts to go away once my siblings head back to school (im homeschooled)... but i dont know when to expect them to even head back.. if im keeping up with current info correctly im pretty sure their time is going to be divided between lectures there and work at home, so i dont know if ill ever get quiet time like i used to :(

and thats three months of (also probably 90% at home!!) summer away regardless, so ive really got to figure out how to just deal with it, i guess :'|
