Full-page pencil illustration on a loose sheet of graph paper. There's a lot going on, but the composition is quite deliberate. Whisper, formed more or less like a werewolf, sits naked on forest ground, leaning into a tree. Gremlin-scale Tangle, also nude, holds herself by the legs around another tree. She's grinning at Whisper's cock (which stands and divides Tangle's face in two) and she's spreading her nethers with a couple fingers. Whisper is howling, probably, head tipped back and up; her eyes are open if mostly obscured by the angle - sort of fearful but loudly effeminate too - they're pupilless but emotional, present, not vacant.

Tangle's tail is looped around Whisper's chest and back several times, and a couple tufts at its end are formed into fingers, curling and playing with Whisper's nipple. (The other boob just rests on Tangle's tail.) Whisper's right hand is grabbing over the top of Tangle's head - since the lemur's drawn more or less lemur-scale, those finger-claws are relatively huge. Her left hand helps her prop against the tree and, courtesy of foreshortening, is also huge and detailed. Bits of grass poke here between her fingers and cattail-looking plants cast a shadow there onto her hip.

Tangle's arm (the one not busy by her bits) lays loose along the ground, more or less following Whisper's left leg - which is lifted up, and maybe Tangle's tickling or touching its sole, there. The other foot's pushing into the ground and giving Whisper a bit more stability.

They are both cast in crescent moonlight — the perspective makes so that it looks humongous behind them, and a few birds fly by in the distance. Whisper's hair, bound in ponytail but long and flowing, covers some of the backdrop; branches off the tree she's leaning on partly obscure the moon.

Well, the Explicit rating isn't for nothing!

This is out of chronological order - it's a loose bit of paper that is actually our first drawing of Whisper (and Tangle), ever. It's hardly the first adult or pencil-on-graph-paper picture we'd done even around the time, but is where our Sonic creative experience properly started.

The first fic we ever read, or near it anyway, was ToxicFurore's Antipathy, which we commented on (later erased for mystery points) around two weeks after drawing this one. It's probably not far off from when we very first experienced IDW through Game Apologist's Sonic Speed Reading compilations. I get the feeling we searched up Whisper on e621, were unimpressed with e621 being e621, and took drawing an obviously transgender werewolf (and her perfect lemur girlfriend) into our own hands/claws.

We've hopefully improved since we did this one, but it's still one of our favorites. Should be obvious, but sexuality in our art is about more than just sex, ha ha - or, well, putting a lot of stuff into sex. Hopefully some of our fics feel a similar way?

You can possibly tell we had some Feelings about wolf ladies with long ponytails!
